You may be a beginner as this small coffee bar wanting to create a brand identity via Social Media Marketing or you may be an established brand looking at improving your brand identity. In either case, you need to be clear about your objective of Social Media marketing. Just as employee engagement is so important for the success of a business, so audience engagement on social media is so vital for the ultimate success of a brand. The first step we did with a coffee shop is that we verified that their business is on the social media networks where their target market hangs out. We also made sure that their business profiles are set up to be visually appealing and welcoming places to visit. Client objective was to increase customers engagement by converting real coffee bar visitors into facebook and instagram followers. We initially considered segmenting the client campaign toward digital media ads but quickly realized that given the nature of the client’s product, all daily customers in coffee bar would be the target using print media.
